Wife Is A Crown👑, Not A Trophy🏆

Achieve from who you are—don’t achieve to prove who you are.

^“A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.” Proverbs 12:4

The “trophy wife” is a counterfeit.

God asks wives to be crowns, yet the enemy twists His word and misleads many.

👑Crown vs. 🏆Trophy

Elrond said, “My daughter will marry a king.” His daughter Arwen chose Aragorn. Aragorn was a king before his coronation.

NO. 1 A crown belongs to a king; a trophy is for a performer.

A crown represents who you are; a trophy represents what you have achieved.

NO. 2 A crown gives power; a trophy marks achievement.

A king holds real authority and power, while a performer is anxious about maintaining their performance level.

A king remains a king regardless of his ruling performance, whereas a performer can be kicked off the stage if they fail even once.

NO. 3 A crown lasts a lifetime; a trophy is a reminder of the past.

Kingship is a tenure, an inheritance, a class, and a legacy. Trophies only commemorate past glory; the moment you receive one, its significance fades.

NO. 4 A crown commands respect; a trophy breeds envy.

Every man desires respect, and every husband wants his wife to submit to him.

A king does not shout, “I am the king!” like Joffrey in Game of Thrones. Joffrey’s grandfather, Tywin Lannister, was never a king, yet he is treated as one.

A king commands respect.

If you want a crown, you must be a king.

If you receive a trophy, you are a good performer—for now.

A performer holding a trophy will celebrate in envy for as long as the vapor of glory lasts.

A king wearing his crown sits securely on his throne. Every word he speaks becomes a decree; every promise he makes is fulfilled—that’s why men trembles even in his silence.

A promise-breaker intimidates nobody. God is God because of His Word.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1

NO.5 A crown fulfills, a trophy never satisfies

You only need one crown, but you’ll have to win many trophies, continuously, chasing one achievement over another.

There’s nothing wrong with desire achievements.

But know this:

Your achievements will never become your identity. If you’re insecure about who you are, you achievements will not secure you.

NO. 6 A crown honors; a trophy brandishes.

The moment of champagne and trophies is what performers dream of—but it lasts only for a moment.

But a crown is secure and stable. A crown distinguishes the king from others.

A trophy may be good for brandishing, but have you ever seen a king brandishing his crown, saying, “You see this? Look! I am the king!”?

NO.7 A crown is a responsibility, a trophy goes to the shelf

Dust and rust will cover trophies, but a crown will always be on the king’s head.

Yet the crown has weight—and that weight is the responsibility of a king.

A trophy will be forgotten. But a crown is always with the king.

NO.8 A crown is exclusive to the king, but everyone can make trophies

“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.” Romans 13:1

Trophies are produced in streamlined factories.

Satan wants you to chase man-made rubbish, to build your own idols from metal and worship them.

But a king represents God’s authority on earth, and an anointing must come from the Lord.

A king gives trophies to those he validates, but the crown only passes to his son.

Satan wants you to seek validation, but God wants you to be His sons.

🌅Women are the glory of men

“For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man.” 1 Corinthians 11:7

Trophies are certainly a form of glory; otherwise, how could Satan mislead so many?

But the evil lies in this:

You will be stuck in lifelong insecurity about who you are, needing trophies—the momentary glory—to prove yourself.

You’re in a rat race, always thirsty, always insatiable, always anxious, always needing more, always pushing yourself, always restless, and always offended.

You are misled to be a performer, holding a trophy, pretending to be a king.

Once people forget about the trophy you won in the past, you feel like a loser again.

Wake up. Satan is lying to you.

Women, remember that you are to be a crown, and a crown doesn’t nag, control, or manipulate the king.

You are the king’s glory. Whoever sees the crown sees the king.

“Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.” Proverbs 31:23

And a crown does not fit a clown.

Don’t sit on a clown’s head; he will not rule as a king but will “turn the palace into a circus.”

Wives, be the crown, not the neck—turning the head wherever you wish.

Husbands, be the king, not the performer—chasing achievements to prove yourselves.

Achieve from who you are—don’t achieve to prove who you are.

There’s a covenant and a legacy for your house.

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

May the Spirit of God fall upon you and turn you from your way to ruin and direct you to the path of life, riches, and honor.
