How to "Subdue the Earth" and Walk in Dominion, Practically

How to "Subdue the Earth" and Walk in Dominion, Practically

My grandma—the one to whom the Lord sent an angel to convert—told me when I was young that animals fear believers.

I used to be afraid of dogs until I was born again in April 2023.

There was a big, bad dog in my neighborhood, guarding the fence of its owner’s backyard, which faced the lake. Each day, I biked along the lakeside path past that backyard, and the dog would run back and forth behind the fence, barking ferociously.

Big wasn’t fair enough. The dog was twice the size of a fully grown German shepherd, muscular, taller than me, longer than a lion, with the head of a demon-possessed Pitbull.

It didn’t just bark at me. It barked at everything that moved.
It didn’t just bark—it lunged, snarled, ready to leap over the fence.
Its bark wasn’t just any bark either; it echoed diagonally across the lake.

I hated being barked at. So, day after day, I simply biked past it as quickly as possible.

Until the first week after I was baptized.

At midday on an ordinary weekday, the dog saw me biking over and started its usual bullying. I don’t know what came over me, but for the first time, I stopped and turned to face it.

It didn’t stop barking. I stretched out my arm, pointed at its head, and commanded in a firm voice:

“Shut up!”

It did. I biked away.

The dog never barked at me again—yet it continued barking at everyone else.

That was the first time I exerted my birthright: dominion.

Ever since then, I’ve never feared dogs again. And ever since the Holy Spirit came upon me on September 11, 2024, no ominous places or strangers have ever intimidated me. No situation freaks me out.

Because I understood one thing—

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Literally.

Even if you’re a man, you’ve likely experienced fear in the dark or chills running down your spine. You may have felt tension around strangers—at least for a moment, you feared their potential to harm you. Not because you’re weak, but because they seemed like lunatics—and you can’t reason with lunatics.

But if you walk by the Spirit, situations like these don’t intimidate you—they excite you:

Oh, you devil, I’ve been waiting for a situation like this to yell, “You unclean spirit, come out in the name of Jesus!”

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Romans 8:14

The blood speaks

And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground.” Genesis 4:10

If Abel’s blood spoke, then Jesus’s blood speaks louder.

When the enemy accuses you, the blood exempts you.

When the devil attacks you, the blood covers you.

When storm rises, the blood rebukes the wind.

When you sin, the blood cleanses you.

You may not see the blood of Jesus commanding all things to work together for your good and sending every weapon formed against you back to its sender—but the enemy sees, trembles, and falls into the very pit they dug for you.

Many people think the blood of Jesus merely saves us from the ultimate judgment of sin—twice death and eternal separation from God in hell.

But that’s only the basic plan.

The premium plan is your birthright: dominion and prosperity—given in Genesis 1, stolen in Genesis 3, and reclaimed by the blood of Jesus on the cross.

You think Jesus died to get you an economy-class ticket, and you stop seeking His kingdom and righteousness as soon as you confessed with your mouth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died on that cross 2000 years ago for my sins and was resurrected on the third day.

Only those who seek Him with all their hearts find Him—and all of these people know what the blood of Jesus truly paid for:

It’s never an economy class ticket. It’s first-class.

“You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

Creatures are dying for your commands

Why do Christians become lukewarm?

My answer is this: they don’t know their access and power. They believe the devil’s preaching in the carnal church instead of reading the Word for themselves.

“For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.” Romans 8:6-7

If only you knew your power through Christ Jesus—power that is not metaphorical but literal, physical, and visible even to your near-sighted eyes—it would be impossible to backslide, to be lukewarm or carnal.

Because being a real Christian is addictive, ravishing, miraculous—indeed, a childhood fantasy come true.

That power was first ordained to you in the beginning—when God made man.

Replenish the earth and subdue it, have dominions over all the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

When man fell, not only did mankind suffer, but creation suffered too—dying for the redemption of man and waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God.

For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

Romans 8:19-22

No memory of this part in Romans 8? Let me show you the verse right before it:

“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18

Alright, now you remember.

People only quote Romans 8:18 because most Christians do not truly seek His kingdom. Instead, they mistake complacency for humility—living as though the death of the Son of God only paid for an economy-class ticket.

Yet the blood of Jesus gave them access to the VIP lounge—the delicacies, the champagne, the manicures, the spa, the special meals, the massage chair, and all the riches the children of this world toil after. But we, His beloved, are blessed even in our sleep.

“It is vain for you to rise up early,
To retire late,
To eat the bread of painful labors;
For He gives to His beloved even in his sleep.”
Psalm 127:2

Like men, the creatures also waited earnestly for the coming of Christ, longing to see their divinely ordained ruler reclaim the throne, the glory, and the dominion.

Just like in The Lion King—all the animals wait for the rightful heir, the true king, Simba, to return.

That’s who you are, and that’s what salvation truly is—the return of kings, the sons of God, redeemed by the blood and bowing before the Son of God, the King of kings.

How to walk in dominion, practically

When a person is enslaved for too long, the message of dominion offends them. The Israelites murmured against God over missing out on leeks and onions.

Let the LORD offend you further so you may die and He may live through you:

“And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, He was hungry:

And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, He came, if haply He might find any thing thereon: and when He came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.

And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And His disciples heard it.”

Mark 11:12-14

You know this story: Jesus cursed a fruitless fig tree to die.

But did you notice—He answered and spoke to the fig tree? If He answered, it means the fig tree had spoken.

All things speak.

God speaks, and so does your bank account. You can choose to listen to God and start that business right now—or you can choose to listen to the number on your balance.

At this point, you should know this one truth: that number in your bank account is literally just a number.

You should know that currencies and electronic payments have turned riches into spreadsheets. Just because the number is high doesn’t mean you’re rich.

All are illusions—yet they speak, and yet you listen, fear, and worship the numbers more than you fear and worship God.

Stop telling God about your bank account. Start telling your bank account about your God.

Stop listening to creatures and ignoring God—listen to the Creator and speak to the creatures.

You shall be above and not beneath—everything on earth, except your equals, men, must bow to your dominion.

Watch how Jesus explained the death of the fig tree to His disciples:

“And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.

And Jesus answering saith unto them, “Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

Mark 11:20-23

Jesus didn’t tell you to pray about the mountain so God might remove it and cast it into the sea—

He told you to command the mountain.

He has given you the power to become sons of God—this is the power given to you the second time after Genesis:

“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:12-13

You have the power to become—but you choose not to.

Because you lack knowledge as such—and therefore, you perish.

God says in Hosea: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”—not for lack of prayer.

You were never meant to pray about your mountain, because you have been given the power to remove it and cast it into the sea.

How I silenced an autism demon

Being a real Christian, I now enjoy confronting what I used to fear.
